A PARTNER

IN CAMPUS HOUSING

HP works in collaboration with our campus partners to develop purpose-built student housing, faculty and staff housing, and other campus-related developments.

STUDENT HOUSING

We develop privatized undergraduate and graduate student housing. Whether it is on campus or at the campus edge, a critical element of our approach is to work in partnership with our host college or university.
Our specialty is in complex projects in high barriers-to-entry markets, where traditional approaches may not be sufficient.
Our goal is to provide high quality housing while supporting the core mission of education.

CAMPUS
DEVELOPMENT

In addition to housing, we work with our campus partners to develop education-related facilities, such as academic buildings. Additionally, many of our campus housing projects are mixed-use, integrating housing with academic spaces such as classrooms or student centers.

FACULTY AND STAFF

HOUSING

Many community institutions in constrained housing markets, including colleges and universities, have identified housing as a strategic imperative in the recruitment and retention of faculty and staff. Our development platform focuses on infill locations near campuses. Working in conjunction with our campus partners, we seek to provide both rental and for-sale housing opportunities.

Public private partnerships (“P3”) are increasingly gaining in popularity with colleges and universities to provide student housing or other campus-related facility solutions. Many campuses recognize a benefit to partnering with private developers to provide much needed facilities.

While the concept is simple, its creation and implementation can be complex. This complexity increases when a traditional P3 partnership is not sufficient.

HP has a strong record of executing complex P3 projects and has experience in working collaboratively with our campus partners.
