Joe Waechter
Joe has been CEO of Wine Direct since 2010 and has successfully led the company's transformation to become leading provider of direct-to-consumer technology in the wine industry.
Prior to joining Wine Direct, he held positions as President and CEO of DHL Worldwide Express and Managing Director of California Pacific Capital, a San Francisco-based investor in early-stage companies.
Joe was also President & CEO of Air Micronesia, Chairman & CEO of United Micronesia Development Association and Chairman & CEO of Danao International Holdings, a real estate development firm with holdings in Southeast Asia.

Michael is the Development Manager and is responsible for owner representation, construction management, and interfacing with governing agencies, project consultants and general contractors.
Michael has over 20 years of experience in commercial, multi-family, and residential developments. Additionally, Michael is accustomed to the P3 environment and has extensive experience in interfacing with various stakeholders to ensure HP’s projects are completed successfully.

Robert Kim
Robert is responsible for managing the company in a manner that supports growth and creates value. Robert’s belief in adding value and responsibility to others drives the business philosophy of the company.
Robert has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and real estate development with work experience in the US, Korea, China, and Japan. Among Robert’s experiences are developments in industrial, commercial, multi-family and single-family residential.
Robert holds a law degree from the University of San Francisco’s School of Law and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

Daune Cotter
Daune is the Controller and is responsible for accounting oversight and management. These responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, treasury and tax. Her approach is driven by our belief in accountability, not only to our company, but to those campuses with which we work.
Daune has 19 years of experience in accounting. Prior to coming to HP she was the Assistant Controller for a large regional homebuilder for 4 years. Her other experiences include private, public and institutional firms, covering manufacturing, distribution, education and retail sectors.

Samuel Kim
Sam is the Managing Director for Business Development and supports activities in new business generation and capital markets.
Sam has a passion for growing early-stage projects and brings an entrepreneurial approach to his work. Sam has over 18 years of experience in technology and finance.
Among Sam’s experiences are as a partner in two successful investment firms specializing in early-stage companies and technology. Additionally, he has consulted to numerous public and private companies.

As an associate project manager, Aydin is responsible for entitlements, permits and project management.
Aydin has 20 years of experience with a diverse background in architecture and construction management. He has worked on both the design and construction side of commercial and multi-family projects.
Aydin holds a master’s degree in Architecture.
